2. Attach the front rails to the rack:
a. Place each front rail to the inside front of the rack.
b. Check that the placement of the M6 screws is correct.
c. Use two M6 screws to attach the rail to the rack. Center the M6 screws in the
center of the hole and fasten tightly.
3. Attach the rear rail to the rack:
a. Use two M6 screws to attach the right switch rail to the inside of the front of the
rack.
b. Use two M6 screws to attach the right switch rail to the inside of the back of the
rack.
c. Leave the screws loose. You tighten these screws later.
d. Adjust the rail to the proper depth of your rack.
e. Tighten all screws.
f. Use two M6 screws to attach the left switch rail to the inside of the back of the
rack.
Install a 6780 Switch
Each 6780 switch weighs 75 pounds. For each switch:
1. Place one person on each side of the switch.
2. Lift the switch and slide it onto the rails in the rack.
3. Using a T30 Torx screwdriver:
a. Use one M6 screw to secure the switch to the front of the rack.
b. Use one M6 screw to secure the switch to the back of the rack.
