1. Check for mixed GUID errors. Refer to Checking for a Mixed Globally Unique ID
(GUID) on page 8-8.
2. Check the operation of each switch in the new zone that was added. Refer to
Checking the Operation of Each Switch
on page 8-4.
3. Check ServerNet connectivity. Refer to Checking the Operation of the ServerNet
Cluster on page 8-2.
Task 7: Connect the Additional Nodes
Refer to Connecting the Cables Between a Node and a 6780 Switch on page 6-18.
Task 8: Check Operations
Check ServerNet connectivity between all nodes. Refer to Checking the Operation of
the ServerNet Cluster on page 8-2.
Task 9: Repeat Tasks 2 Through 8 for the Other Fabric
If you added a group to the X fabric, add the corresponding group to the Y fabric.
