Checking the Internal ServerNet X and Y Fabrics
Perform this procedure if a problem occurs on an internal fabric on any node in the
ServerNet cluster. You can use the OSM Service Connection or SCF to check the
internal ServerNet fabrics.
1. Using the OSM Service Connection:
a. Check for alarms and repair actions for the Internal Fabric resource. Refer to
OSM online help.
b. If you continue to have a problem, check the integrity of group-to-group
connections along one internal ServerNet fabric at a time. Refer to Using the
Group Connectivity ServerNet Path Test Action on page 8-17.
c. From the OSM Service Connection, check the tree pane to see if the problem
has been resolved.
2. If you continue to have a problem, check the internal ServerNet X and Y fabrics for
the local node. Refer to the STATUS SERVERNET $ZSNET command in the SCF
Reference Manual for the Kernel Subsystem.
3. If you continue to have a problem, refer to:
ServerNet Cluster 6780 Operations Guide
NonStop S-Series Operations Guide
