Starting MSGMON
Starting MSGMON
If $ZZKRN.#MSGMON is configured but not started, use SCF to start it. This
command starts a copy of MSGMON on every available processor on the node. At an
SCF prompt:
-> START PROCESS $ZZKRN.#MSGMON
Starting SNETMON
If $ZZKRN.#ZZSCL is configured but not started, use SCF to start it. At an SCF
prompt:
-> START PROCESS $ZZKRN.#ZZSCL
Starting the Expand-Over-ServerNet Line-
Handler Processes and Lines
If the line-handler processes are configured but not started, use SCF to start them.
1. At an SCF prompt:
-> START DEVICE $ZZWAN.#linename
For example:
-> START DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SC004
2. Start Expand-over-ServerNet lines using either SCF or OSM:
At an SCF prompt:
-> START LINE $SCxxx
For example:
-> START LINE $SC004
Use the OSM Add Node to ServerNet Cluster action. For more information, see
Using the OSM Service Connection on page 7-2.
3. Check that the lines have started. For example:
-> STATUS LINE $SC004
