Software Requirements for NonStop S-Series
Servers
Before adding a NonStop S-series server to a ServerNet cluster that uses the layered
topology, you must install the required software. HP recommends that you install the
latest product version updates (PVUs).
Minimum RVUs and SPRs Required
The software listed in Table 1-3 and the Expand profiles in Table 1-4 on page 1-9 are
required for ServerNet clusters that contain only NonStop S-series servers.

OSM CIMOM T2727AAC This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
OSM Service Provider T2728AAC This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
Upgrading OSM online does not
disrupt ServerNet communication over
the cluster.
SNETMON/MSGMON T0294AAL This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
SANMAN T0502AAL Installing SANMAN does not disrupt
ServerNet communication over the
cluster. However, OSM cannot display
information about the external fabrics
until the software installation is
finished.
