Logic Board
Numeric Selector
The four-digit numeric selector sets the configuration for each 6780 switch. For
information about how to set the numeric selector, refer to Task 3: Set the Numeric
Selector on page 5-4. A hard reset is required after you set the numeric selector.
Ejectors
The ejectors are used to remove the logic board from the switch module, and to secure
the logic board in place.
Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs)
For more information, refer to Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) on page 2-23.
Logic Board Buttons
Table 2-7 provides information about the function of the buttons on the front panel of
the logic board.
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
The LCD on the logic board provides information to help you identify the 6780 switch.

Table 2-7. Logic Board Buttons
Button Function
Reset This recessed button performs a hard reset of the 6780 switch. It causes loss
of connectivity for all nodes attached to the switch and causes the logic board
firmware, configuration, and FPGA to be loaded from FLASH memory.
Interrupt This recessed button is not used for 6780 switches, and has no effect if
pushed.

The two LCD up and down buttons help you scroll through the display.
