Migration Examples
Migration Examples
These examples begin with all nodes in the ServerNet cluster running the G06.21 or a
later RVU and the tri-star topology. The original cluster can also be configured as a
star or split-star topology. Following the migration, the cluster uses the layered
topology.
Figure 3-2 shows the existing tri-star topology. The cluster uses ServerNet II Switches,
which are the routing components of a 6770 switch. ServerNet node numbers for the
nodes attached to the three ServerNet II Switches are 1 through 8, 9 through 16, and
17 through 24.
