Software Requirements for NonStop S-Series
Servers
Before adding a NonStop S-series server to a ServerNet cluster that uses the layered
topology, you must install the required software. HP recommends that you install the
latest product version updates (PVUs).
Minimum RVUs and SPRs Required
The software listed in Table 1-3 and the Expand profiles in Table 1-4 on page 1-9 are
required for ServerNet clusters that contain only NonStop S-series servers.

that you install the latest superceding or
replacement SPRs.
OSM CIMOM T2727AAC* This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
OSM Service Provider T2728AAC* This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
* At G06.25, all eight OSM Server components, including T2727 and T2728, were
combined into a single OSM server SPR, T0682. Because of considerable
performance enhancements that went into T0682 at G06.25 and later, HP
strongly recommends that you get the latest OSM server (T0682) SPR available
for G-series (replacing T2727, T2728, and other OSM server-based components).
T0682 is backward compatible with all RVUs supported by OSM (G06.10 and
later). Upgrading OSM online does not disrupt ServerNet communication over the
cluster. For more information, see the OSM Migration and Configuration Guide.
SNETMON/MSGMON T0294AAL This SPR supports ServerNet clusters
with only NonStop S-series servers.
