5. Insert the connector into the receptacle, squeezing the connector body gently
between your thumb and forefinger as you insert it. Push the connector straight
into the receptacle until the connector clicks into place. See Figure 3-4.
6. Verify that the connector is fully mated to the receptacle and that the fibers are
evenly inserted. If the connector is defective, it is possible for one or both fibers to
