Example: Merging Two Star Topologies to Create a
Split-Star Topology
Figure 4-7 shows a four-node ServerNet cluster that has been modified to support up
to 16 nodes by upgrading software and adding cluster switches. In addition, one new
server has been added to the cluster.
Because the nodes in the modified cluster are running G06.09, G06.10, and G06.11
RVUs, the four-lane links must be 80 meters or less.
