Command Execution Error Messages
Cause. A LOCK SC command failed because the switch card in slot slot-number
did not correctly transition to a locked state.
Effect. The command is not executed. SWCI waits for the next command.
Recovery. Retry the command.
Cause. An UNLOCK command failed because the switch card in slot
slot-number
did not change to the unlocked state.
Effect. The command is not executed. SWCI waits for the next command.
Recovery. Retry the command.
Cause. A LOCK, UNLOCK, ALARM, SELFTEST, or SWITCH command was
ignored because the key switch is currently in the LOCAL position. These commands
are not allowed when the key switch is in the LOCAL position.
Effect. The command is not executed. SWCI waits for the next command.
Recovery. Change the SCC key switch to the REMOTE position to perform these
commands through SWCI. In the LOCAL position, you can toggle the switch card
manually instead of using the SWITCH command.
Cause. A SELFTEST command on the SCC failed.
Effect. The switch module does not work properly.
Recovery. Contact professional services to check the LEDs on the SCC.
