Nomadic Disk Hardware
The hardware needed in your Nomadic Disk configuration depends on whether you have 
remote mirroring or fiber-optic switching, and the distances between the 6760 ServerNet 
device adapter (ServerNet/DA) and the disk modules. 
Required Hardware for All Configurations 
Required Hardware for Remote Mirroring
Because all enclosures are normally required to be connected to the same power grid, 
the maximum distance between an I/O enclosure and a Modular ServerNet expansion 
board (MSEB) with either an single-mode fiber-optic (SMF) PIC or MMF PIC is 
usually limited to 25 meters. To increase this distance, additional hardware is required.
