Table 3-1. Files in the Nomadic Disk Manager Subvolume
File Description
AAREADME A text file describing the contents of the subvolume.
CREATOR A command file used to create a TACL segment file. This file uses the
NOMADSRC file to create the NOMADSEG file.
NDCONFIG A sample Nomadic Disk Manager configuration file for a standard
configuration.
NOMADSRC A TACL source file containing the Nomadic Disk Manager routines.
REGISTER Because NonStop ODBC Server (NOS) is not supported, do not use
this file.
TACLCSTM A sample TACLCSTM file that attaches the NOMADSEG segment file
and sets up the correct #USELIST. This sample file assumes that the
Nomadic Disk Manager files reside on the subvolume
$SYSTEM.NOMADIC.
NOMADSEG The TACL segment file, created by the CREATOR command file.
This file resides on the same subvolume as the NOMADSRC file.
ZZNDxxxx A temporary file containing TACL history. When you start the
Nomadic Disk Manager, this EDIT file is created on the saved default
subvolume. The current TACL history is placed in this file. When
you exit the Nomadic Disk Manager, the history in this file is
restored to the TACL environment and the file is purged.
