SCC LEDs
The front panel of the SCC contains the following LEDs..
Caution.  Do not attempt to replace the switch module, attempting to do so could damage the 
equipment. For repair and replacement, contact professional services.  The ServerNet 
Nomadic Disk Subsystem Installation and Service Guide is available to professional services in 
the TIM Hardware Service and Maintenance Collection.
LED Color Indicates Meaning Action
ENV Amber Environmental 
fault
Unlit: Voltage and 
temperatures are normal.
No action is required.
Lit: Sensor 1 or sensor 2 
temperature is out of 
range.
Flashing: voltages for 
the SCC are out of 
range.
Power off the switch 
module immediately 
and contact professional 
services.
PON  Green Power on Lit: SCC is receiving 
power
If the LED is lit, no 
action is required.
Unlit: SCC is not 
receiving power.
Check the power-on 
switch located in the 
back of the switch 
module and the power 
cord connections.
TX, port A Amber Transmitting Flashing: port A is 
transmitting.
No action is required.
Unlit: port A is not 
transmitting.
RX, port A Amber Receiving Flashing: port A is 
receiving.
No action is required.
Unlit: port A is not 
receiving.
TX, port B Amber Transmitting Flashing: port B is 
transmitting.
No action is required.
Unlit: port B is not 
transmitting.
RX, port B Amber Receiving Flashing: port B is 
receiving.
No action is required.
Unlit: port B is not 
transmitting.
