START LBU Command
Example
The following example is similar to the display returned when a START LBU command
fails to start LBU $ZZFOX.#X:
The following descriptions explain the fields returned by a failed START LBU
command:
Summary State
identifies the summary state of the LBU object. The valid states are STARTED,
STOPPED, STARTING, ABORTING, DIAGNOSING, and UNKNOWN. Refer to
SCF and LBU Object States on page 4-3 for additional information.
Selftest Code
identifies the self-test code reported by the ServerNet/FX adapter. Refer to
Appendix C, ServerNet/FX Adapter Self-test Codes for a list of self-test codes.
Last Reset Code
identifies the state of the ServerNet/FX adapter board when it was last reset. The
possible Last Reset Code values are
File System Error
identifies the NonStop Kernel operating system file-system error. To obtain an
explanation of the file-system error, enter the following command at a TACL
prompt:
ERROR number
where number is the file-system error number returned.

FOX E00006 LBU could not be started. Type HELP FOX 6 for information.
0 BOOTCODE STATE — The ServerNet/FX adapter board is in
Hardware Passthrough mode.
1 OFFLINE STATE — The ServerNet/FX adapter board is in Software
Passthrough mode.
2 ONLINE STATE — The ServerNet/FX adapter board is in Logical
Passthrough mode.
