START PATH Command
Physical State
identifies the physical state reported by the ServerNet/FX adapter. Possible states
are UNLOADED, LOADED, OPERATIONAL, NO RESPONSE and ???. Refer to
ServerNet/FX Adapter Physical States on page 4-5 for additional information.
Download Error
identifies the download error status. Possible download errors are
Download Succeeded
No error. Microcode download completed successfully.
Open Failed
Read Failed
Seek Failed
Module does not exist
Invalid header field
Microcode file could not be verified. Contact your service provider to try to
reload the microcode.
Controller Type
identifies the type of controller. FX2SA identifies the controller as a ServerNet/FX 2
adapter. FXSA identifies the controller as a ServerNet/FX adapter.
START PATH Command
Use the START PATH command to start a FOX direct logical path from a processor in
the local cluster to a processor in one of the other clusters on the FOX ring.
The START PATH command syntax is
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
PATH
is a keyword specifying that PATH(s) between the processor(s) in the local cluster
and remote cluster(s) comes next on the command line.
START [ /OUT file-spec/ ] PATH $ZZFOX {.local-processor | .*}
{, TO {remote-cluster | \*} {.remote-processor | .*}}
[, SUB [fox-logical-path | ALL]]
