STATS LBU Command Example
Controller Interface Errors
identifies the type of counters being reported in the following section of the display.
Chk Sum
indicates the number of checksum errors detected by the ServerNet/FX
adapter. A nonzero value in this field can indicate a FOX adapter hardware
error in an adapter on the ring. The transmission in which the error was
detected is automatically retried. If the condition persists, contact your service
provider for assistance in locating and replacing the adapter which contains the
error.
SNET Link
indicates the number of link-exception errors detected by the ServerNet/FX
adapter. Each transmission in which an error was detected is automatically
retried. If this value is nonzero, check the ServerNet fabric using the SCF
STATUS SERVERNET $ZSNET command and correct any abnormalities.
SNET Pkt
indicates the number of packet-exception errors detected by the ServerNet/FX
adapter. A nonzero value in this field indicates that a problem exists on the
local systems ServerNet fabric. Each transmission in which an error was
detected is automatically retried. If this value is persistently nonzero, check the
ServerNet fabric using the SCF STATUS SERVERNET $ZSNET command and
correct any abnormalities.
SNET Misc
indicates the number of miscellaneous errors detected by the ServerNet/FX
adapter. Each transmission in which an error was detected is automatically
retried. If this value is persistently nonzero, check the ServerNet fabric using
the SCF STATUS SERVERNET $ZSNET command and correct any
abnormalities.
SNET Aged
indicates the number of send commands that were discarded because they
were in the ServerNet queue for too long. This indicates that a remote
processor is not accepting messages. Check the EMS logs to help identify
which remote cluster and processor have the problem. Diagnose and correct
the problem on the remote cluster and/or processor.
Note. The values displayed are since the statistical counters were last reset.
