ServerNet/FX Adapter Configuration and Management Manual—426872-002
4-43
STATUS SUBNET Command
System Number
identifies the system number of the node on which the ServerNet/FX adapter is
located.
Cluster Number
identifies the cluster number currently being used by the ServerNet/FX adapter.
Cluster
identifies the cluster number of other known clusters on the FOX ring.
Name
identifies the system name of operating clusters on the FOX ring. A blank space in
this field indicates that the cluster has recently been started; the system name will
appear in this field when the next Expand netmap arrives. See the Expand
Configuration and Management Manual for details on netmaps.
System Number
identifies the system number of other known clusters on the FOX ring.
LH-Ldev
identifies the logical device number of the local Expand-over-FOX line-handler
process that handles communications with the corresponding remote cluster on the
FOX ring. Three question marks (???) in this field indicate that the local
Expand-over-FOX line-handler process for that remote cluster is down and that the
Remote LH Status field also reads Down.
Remote LH Status
identifies the status of the remote Expand-over-FOX line-handler process for each
cluster on the FOX ring, as seen from the FOX monitor process ($ZZFOX). The
states are
Up
The Expand-over-FOX line-handler process is bound to $ZZFOX; that is,
the SCF START LINE command is issued for the remote Expand-over-
FOX line-handler process; the local and remote clusters can communicate.
Down
Either the local or the remote Expand-over-FOX line-handler process is
down. The Expand-over-FOX line-handler process is not bound to
$ZZFOX; that is, the SCF START LINE command is not issued for the
Note. Up does not guarantee that the Expand-over-FOX line-handler is
operational. Refer to the Expand Configuration and Management Manual for
information on checking the status of the Expand-over-FOX line-handler.
