ServerNet/FX Adapter Subsystem Management
The Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) handles management of the ServerNet/FX
adapter subsystem network, the FOX monitor process ($ZZFOX), and the logical
interfaces to FOX direct logical paths (XL, XR, YL, and YR), and configuration and
management of the logical interfaces ($ZZFOX.#X and $ZZFOX.#Y) associated with
ServerNet/FX adapters. For a description of the SCF commands and object states for
the ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem, refer to Section 4, ServerNet/FX Adapter
Subsystem SCF Commands.
Software and Hardware Components
Figure 1-2 on page 1-5 shows the major software and hardware components required
to provide FOX ring connectivity.
