Using SCF Commands for the ServerNet/FX Adapter
Subsystem
The following ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem SCF commands display static
information about ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem components.
Using SCF Commands for the Kernel Subsystem
You can use the Kernel subsystem SCF INFO PROCESS command to display
configuration information, including attribute values, for the FOX monitor process
($ZZFOX). This configuration information displays the attribute values set by the SCF
ADD PROCESS command. The following shows an example of the Kernel subsystem
SCF INFO PROCESS command.
Refer to the SCF Reference Manual for the Kernel Subsystem for more information
about the SCF INFO PROCESS command.
You can also use the SCF LISTDEV command to display the logical device (LDEV)
number, name, and device type of the FOX monitor process ($ZZFOX). The following
shows an example of an SCF LISTDEV command.
Refer to the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series Systems for more information about
the SCF LISTDEV command.
Using the OSM or TSM Client Software
You can use either OSM or TSM client software to get information about a selected
ServerNet/FX adapter. The full set of ServerNet/FX adapter attributes can be viewed in
the OSM Service Connection or the TSM Service Application. A subset of those
SCF Command Information Reported
INFO LBU Displays information for a specified LBU, including the configured
sample time interval. Use the DETAIL option to display the
configured left and right power levels.
INFO PROCESS Displays information about the FOX monitor process ($ZZFOX),
including the numbers of the primary and backup processors.
VERSION PROCESS Displays the version of the ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem.
