Task 4: Connect the corresponding LBUs at the cable
neighbors
To bring up the links at the cable neighbors (the servers between which the NonStop
S-series server was inserted), issue the following SCF commands:
At the left cable neighbor:
If the left cable neighbor is running the D-series NonStop Kernel operating system,
enter the following SCF commands:
SCF> CONNECT LBU $IPB.#X, RIGHT
SCF> CONNECT LBU $IPB.#Y, RIGHT
If the left cable neighbor is running the G-series NonStop Kernel operating system,
enter the following SCF commands:
SCF> CONNECT LBU $ZZFOX.#X, RIGHT
SCF> CONNECT LBU $ZZFOX.#Y, RIGHT
At the right cable neighbor:
If the right cable neighbor is running the D-series NonStop Kernel operating
system, enter the following SCF commands:
SCF> CONNECT LBU $IPB.#X, LEFT
SCF> CONNECT LBU $IPB.#Y, LEFT
If the left cable neighbor is running the G-series NonStop Kernel operating system,
enter the following SCF commands:
