Recovering Down or Stuck FOX Direct Logical Paths
Recovering stuck (-STUCK-) FOX direct logical paths
For each stuck state (-STUCK-), start all four FOX direct logical paths between the
local processor and a specified remote processor by issuing the following
ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem SCF command:
SCF> START PATH $ZZFOX.local-processor,
TO remote-cluster.remote-processor
The following example of a START PATH command with accompanying detailed status
information shows that all FOX direct logical paths from processor 4 in the local cluster
to processor 1 in \GATE5 were successfully started.
Task 4: Verify recovery of FOX direct logical paths
To verify that all FOX direct logical paths on the local cluster that were reporting Path
Down or CPU Stuck were successfully recovered, issue the following ServerNet/FX
adapter subsystem SCF command:
SCF> STATUS PATH $ZZFOX.*, TO \*.*
SCF> START PATH $ZZFOX.4, TO \GATE5.1
FOX Detailed Status PATH \GATE3.$ZZFOX.4, TO \GATE5.1
