Supported Commands and Object Types
Supported Commands and Object Types
This section explains the SCF commands that are interpreted specifically for the
ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem. Other commands that are generally supported by
SCF, such as the ASSUME and ENV commands, are not documented in this manual.
The SCF Reference Manual for G-Series Releases provides general information about
SCF commands.
Table 4-1 lists the ServerNet/FX adapter subsystem SCF commands and the object
types to which the commands apply.
The SUB ALL command parameter is supported for use by the ServerNet/FX adapter
subsystem SCF START PATH command.
SCF features not explained here are not supported by the ServerNet/FX adapter
subsystem SCF interface: the SEL and LIKE command parameters, in particular, and
multiple objects per command, are not supported by the ServerNet/FX adapter
subsystem SCF interface.
Sensitive and Nonsensitive Commands
Some SCF commands are sensitive, meaning that they can have detrimental effects if
improperly used, so special qualification is required to use them. A sensitive command
can only be issued by a user with the super ID, the owner of the subsystem, or a
