Physical State Description
UNLOADED The ServerNet/FX adapter has not had the firmware downloaded and the
ServerNet/FX adapter is in Hardware Passthrough mode. If the
ServerNet/FX adapter is connected to the FOX ring, then packets pass
through the ServerNet/FX adapter to the left (right) physical neighbor on
the FOX ring. The ServerNet/FX adapter is not ready to send or receive
messages from the FOX ring destined for the cluster on which the
ServerNet/FX adapter is resident.
LOADED The ServerNet/FX adapter has had the firmware successfully
downloaded and the ServerNet/FX adapter is in Software Passthrough
mode. If the ServerNet/FX adapter is connected to the FOX ring, then
packets pass through the ServerNet/FX adapter to the left (right) physical
neighbor on the FOX ring. The ServerNet/FX adapter is not ready to
send or receive messages from the FOX ring destined for the cluster on
which the ServerNet/FX adapter is resident.
OPERATIONAL The ServerNet/FX adapter has had the firmware successfully
downloaded. If the ServerNet/FX adapter is connected to the FOX ring,
then the ServerNet/FX adapter is ready to send and receive messages
from the FOX ring destined for the cluster on which the ServerNet/FX
adapter is resident. In addition, traffic not destined for the cluster on
which the ServerNet/FX adapter is resident will passthrough to the
appropriate neighbor.
NO RESPONSE The ServerNet/FX adapter is not responding to the host.
??? The ServerNet/FX adapter is in an unknown physical state.
