ADD Command
CLUSTERNUM
The CLUSTERNUM attribute specifies the unique cluster number
(cluster-number) of the server. If the cluster number is not specified, it
defaults to 0 and the specified ServerNet/FX adapter cannot be started until
the cluster number is changed to a valid value.
STARTSTATE
The STARTSTATE attribute specifies the start mode of the ServerNet/FX
adapter. A value of STARTED specifies that the ServerNet/FX adapter will be
started automatically when the system is loaded. A value of STOPPED
specifies that the ServerNet/FX adapter will not be started automatically when
the system is loaded, and must be manually started using the ServerNet/FX
adapter subsystem SCF START LBU command.
POWERLEFT
The POWERLEFT attribute specifies the power level (powerlevel) for the
link to the left cluster. The Left Out fiber connector on the ServerNet/FX
adapter provides the link from the adapter to the left cluster. A value of 0
specifies a low power level and is used for distances up to 2 Km. A value of 1
specifies a high power level and is used for distances from 2 Km to 4 Km.
