ALTER Command
ALTER Command
The ALTER command changes the values of the attributes of an existing object. This
command changes only the specified attributes of the target object. ALTER is a
sensitive command.
The ALTER command syntax is
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
LBU
is a keyword specifying that an LBU name comes next on the command line.
LBU-name
is the name of the LBU ($ZZFOX.#X or $ZZFOX.#Y) associated with the
ServerNet/FX adapter whose configurations are to be altered.
DEFAULT
is an optional keyword that causes the adapter record in the CONFIG database to
be updated with the new LBU configuration. The changes to the CONFIG database
will be retained during any subsequent cold load of the system.
attribute-spec
is a specification of an attribute and a value to be assigned to it. It is one of the
following attribute name and value combinations:
ALTER [ /OUT file-spec/ ] LBU LBU-name [ , DEFAULT ]
{ attribute-spec }...
[ , PROGRAM file-spec ]
[ , MODULE module-name ]
[ , SAMPLEINT time ]
[ , CLUSTERNUM cluster-number ]
[ , STARTSTATE { STARTED | STOPPED } ]
[ , POWERLEFT powerlevel ]
[ , POWERRIGHT powerlevel ]
