alphanumeric character string that follows the naming conventions for
subdevices.
return : (OUTFILE)
if received from the IN file, specifies the text message to be returned to the OUT
file. See Appendix B for detailed descriptions of error messages.
return : ($RECEIVE)
if received from the $RECEIVE file, returns a structured buffer that includes any
return codes and file-system error messages. See Appendix B for lists of return
codes and detailed descriptions of error messages.
Using the DISABLE Command
The following example shows how to use the DISABLE command:
-> DISABLE LINE $SNAP1, PORT $X25AM1.#SU1
This request inhibits call-in operations on line $SNAP1 from the port
%$X25AM1.#SU1. To disconnect the current connection on line $SNAP1, you must
issue a DISCONNECT command.
