STATUS LINE Command
SNAX/CM Commands

STATUS Command The SNAX/CM STATUS command is used to request connection information for
either a line or a port or PU, as follows:
A STATUS LINE command requests the status of all objects for a given line.
A STATUS LINE, PORT command requests the status of a specific port on a
specified line.
A STATUS LINE, PU command requests the status of a permanently subordinated
PU or currently subordinated switched floating PU on a specified line.
A STATUS PU command requests the status of a switched floating PU.
The STATUS LINE, PORT command and the STATUS LINE, PU command imply that
a linkage exists between a line and a port or PU, respectively. If no such linkage exists
or the SNAX/CM process does not know about the link (in a case where the linkage is
managed by another SNAX/CM process), a return code is sent. If the line or the PU
was preconfigured using ASSOCIATESUBDEV, the status information is always
available for that linkage.
The syntax and parameters for each of these commands are described in the
subsections that follow.
