STOP SU Command The STOP SU command terminates the activity of an SU object in an orderly manner.
Upon completion of this command, the configured objects are in a STOPPED state.
STOP SU is a sensitive command.
STOP SU command syntax is as follows:
STOP [ /OUT
file-spec
/ ] SU
manager-name.object-name
[ , SEL [ NOT ]
state
]
OUT
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the file
file-spec
; it is described in the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) Reference Manual.
manager-name
is described in Section 3, “Objects for SNAX Creator-2.”
object-name
is an SU object name, as described in Section 3, “Objects for SNAX Creator-2.”
SEL
is described in the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) Reference Manual.
state
is an SU object state, as described in Section 3, “Objects for SNAX Creator-2.”
Considerations
The SUB, ORDERLY, and FORCED parameters are not supported.
All connections subordinate to the SU object are stopped and closed when all
pending traffic ceases.
