summary state. See object state.
super group. The set of operating system users whose group ID is 255. User IDs within
the super group confer implicit authorizations not available to other users, including
the ability to execute sensitive Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) commands.
system. A Tandem computer system, which consists of from 2 to 16 processors on a
dual communication path (Dynabus interprocessor bus). A complete computer system
consists of processors, disk drives, printers, terminals and related components.
Systems Network Architecture (SNA). A description of the logical structure, formats,
protocols and operational sequences for transmitting information units through, and
controlling the configuration and operation of, networks.
Tandem Logon Manager for IBM Systems (ILOGMGR). Tandem software that runs in IBM
systems to support the extended logon facility (XLF) of SNAX/APN. See also
SNAX/APN logon manager (TLOGMGR).
TEXT. An attribute for ENTRY objects. It specifies the string associated with an
ENTRY object.
TLOGMGR. See SNAX/APN logon manager (TLOGMGR).
TMF. See Transaction Management Facility (TMF).
Transaction Management Facility (TMF). The Tandem software product that manages
transactions requested by programs. TMF helps maintain database consistency and
integrity, and protects the database against damage due to system or media failures.
USS table. unformatted system services.
version number. A 16-bit integer representation of a software release version.
XLF. See extended logon facility (XLF).
ZCRESCF. The object-code file for the product module of SNAX Creator-2.
$ZNET. The default SCP process.
