This section describes the SCF commands that apply to the SNAX Creator-2
subsystem. It provides general information about these commands, followed by
descriptions of each command, including command syntax and examples.
The commands are presented in alphabetical order.
The commands presented in this manual are a subset of the total commands available
through SCF. The Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) Reference Manual contains further
information about these and other SCF commands.
Command Overview Table 4-1 lists the SCF commands that have special considerations for the
SNAX Creator-2 subsystem, and it provides a general description of what each
command does. Appendix A provides a quick reference guide to the syntax for these
commands.

Command Description
ADD Defines an object to the SNAX Creator-2 subsystem.
ALTER Changes the values of one or more attributes of an object.
DELETE Removes an object from the SNAX Creator-2 subsystem.
INFO Displays information about the attributes of an object.
LISTOPENS Displays a list of all file-system OPEN calls that apply to a SUBSYS object.
NAMES Displays the names of all objects specified.
PRIMARY Causes the backup CPU to become the primary CPU, and the primary CPU to
become the backup CPU.
START Initiates the operation of an object.
STATS Displays the accumulated statistics for a SUBSYS object and, optionally, resets
them.
STATUS Displays the status of an object.
STOP Terminates the operation of an object in an orderly manner.
VERSION Displays version information about the SNAX Creator-2 subsystem.
All SNAX Creator-2 commands except START and STOP return control to the user
after processing has been completed. The START and STOP commands return control
immediately after the execution of the command without waiting for processing of the
command to be completed.
