GET-ATTRIBUTES Verb
Reply Details
GAR-SYNC-LEVEL

possible values are N for NONE, C for CONFIRM and S for SYNCPT.
If the synchronization level is NONE, the confirm verb cannot be issued in the
conversation.
GAR-APC-LUNAME
This field contains the name of the local LU, as described in the SNAX/APC
configuration database.
GAR-PARTNER-LUNAME
This field contains the name of the remote LU in session with the local LU.
GAR-PARTNER-UNINTERP-NAME
This field contains the SNANAME name of the remote LU. If the IPC version is S1,
this field is limited to 8 bytes.
RESERVED-2
This is a reserved field. It is not used for IPC version S1.
GAR-MODENAME
This field contains the name of the mode under which the session with the remote
LU was established.
GAR-SESSION-IDENTIFIER
This field contains the session ID of the session that the current conversation is
running on. This field is not used if the IPC version is S1.
Considerations
•
This reply format will be returned if the IPC version is set to S2 or above. If a
PTNR-LU’s SNA name is configured with a fully qualified LU name, and the GET-
ATTRIBUTE verb is issued with the version 1 IPC header (S1), only the SNA
network LU name will be returned in the GAR-PARTNER-UNINTERP-NAME
reply field. (The network ID will not be returned.)
•
If a GET-ATTRIBUTE verb is processing when SNAX/APC receives a CANCEL
system message from the application program, SNAX/APC deactivates the session
and replies to the cancelled IPC. SNAX/APC frees the internal resources after
finishing the processing of the verb.
