SEND-ERROR Verb
SE-TYPE
This specifies the type of error; the SEND-ERROR verb request supports three error
types:
PROGRAM-TYPE
BACKOUT-NO-RESYNC
BACKOUT-RESYNC
Reply Details
SER-REQ-TO-SEND-IND
This field indicates whether the remote TP issued a REQUEST-TO-SEND verb. If
the field contains the letter Y, a REQUEST-TO-SEND notification was received
from the remote TP, which requests the local TP to enter Receive state. If the field
contains the letter N, the remote TP did not issue a REQUEST-TO-SEND verb.
Return Codes
If the SEND-ERROR verb is issued in the Send state, the following return codes can be
returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of SER-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-ALLOCATION-ERROR
RC-BACKOUT-RESYNC
RC-BACKOUT-NO-RESYNC
RC-DEALLOCATE-ABEND-PROG
RC-PROGRAM-ERROR-PURGING
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
If the SEND-ERROR verb is issued in the Receive state, the following return codes can
be returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of SER-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-BACKOUT-RESYNC
RC-BACKOUT-NO-RESYNC
RC-DEALLOCATE-NORMAL
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
If the SEND-ERROR verb is issued in the Confirm state, the following return codes can
be returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of SER-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
Consideration
If a SEND-ERROR verb is processing when SNAX/APC receives a CANCEL system
message from the application program, SNAX/APC deactivates the session and replies
