MC-ALLOCATE Verb
MC-ALLOCATE Verb
This verb allocates a mapped conversation connecting the local transaction program
(TP) to a remote TP. A unique resource ID is assigned to the mapped conversation.
This verb is issued prior to any verbs that refer to the mapped conversation.
SNAX/APC has conversation security through the support of a program-supplied user
ID and password when a SNAX/APC transaction program allocates a conversation. To
support conversation security, SNAX/APC requires IPC version code S3 or S5. You
must specify the S3 or S5 version code if you want to use the conversation security
feature.
SNAX/APC supports a limited set of the APPC sync point services. For sync point
support, SNAX/APC requires IPC version code S5.
