MC-PREPARE-TO-RECEIVE Verb
Return Codes
If MC-PREPARE-TO-RECEIVE is issued with MC-PR-TYPE set to FL or MC-PR-
TYPE set to SL and the synchronization is NONE, the following return code is returned
in REP-RETURN-CODE of MC-PRR-HEADER:
RC-OK
If MC-PREPARE-TO-RECEIVE is issued with MC-PR-TYPE set to CO or MC-PR-
TYPE set to SL and the synchronization is CONFIRM, the following return codes can
be returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of MC-PRR-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-ALLOCATION-ERROR
RC-DEALLOCATE-ABEND-PROG
RC-IMPROPER-SYNCLEVEL-PARAM
RC-PROGRAM-ERROR-PURGING
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
Consideration
If an MC-PREPARE-TO-RECEIVE verb is processing when SNAX/APC receives a
CANCEL system message from the application program, SNAX/APC deactivates the
session and replies to the cancelled IPC. SNAX/APC frees the internal resources after
finishing the processing of the verb.
