MC-SEND-ERROR Verb
Request Details
The MC-SEND-DATA verb request has one parameter in addition to the standard
SNAX/APC request header.
SE-TYPE
This specifies the type of error; the SEND-ERROR verb request supports three error
types:
PROGRAM-TYPE
BACKOUT-NO-RESYNC
BACKOUT-RESYNC
Reply Details
The MC-SEND-ERROR verb reply has two parameters in addition to the standard
SNAX/APC reply header. These are as follows:
RESERVED-1
is reserved, and is not used by SNAX/APC. It may be ignored by the TP.
MC-SER-REQUEST-TO-SEND-IND
indicates whether or not the remote TP issued a MC-REQUEST-TO-SEND verb.
The field must contain either a “Y”, meaning that the remote TP did issue an MC-
REQUEST-TO-SEND verb, or an “N”, indicating that the remote TP did not issue
an MC-REQUEST-TO-SEND verb.
Return Codes
If the MC-SEND-ERROR verb is issued in the Send state, the following return codes
can be returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of SER-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-ALLOCATION-ERROR
RC-BACKOUT-RESYNC
RC-BACKOUT-NO-RESYNC
RC-DEALLOCATE-ABEND-PROG
RC-PROGRAM-ERROR-PURGING
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
If the MC-SEND-ERROR verb is issued in the Receive state, the following return codes
can be returned in REP-RETURN-CODE of SER-HEADER:
RC-OK
RC-DEALLOCATE-NORMAL
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-NO-RETRY
RC-RESOURCE-FAIL-RETRY
