GET-TYPE Verb
Request Details
The GET-TYPE verb request has no parameters other than the standard SNAX/APC
request header.
Reply Details
The GET-TYPE verb reply has two parameters in addition to the standard SNAX/APC
reply header. These are as follows:
RESERVED-1
This field is reserved, and is not used by SNAX/APC. It may be ignored by the TP.
GTR-TYPE
The types are “B” for basic conversations, and “M” for mapped conversations.
Consideration
If a GET-TYPE verb is processing when SNAX/APC receives a CANCEL system
message from the application program, SNAX/APC deactivates the session and replies
to the cancelled IPC. SNAX/APC frees the internal resources after finishing the
processing of the verb.
