APS User Interface
APS presents SNAX/APC verbs to you by using full-screen forms, one form for each
verb. The following example shows the general layout of an APS form.
The following areas of the form are identified:
1. The name of the SNAX/APC verb that you have selected is displayed in this field.
2. The resource ID returned by the last TP-READY verb is displayed here. If you have
not yet issued a TP-READY verb, or a TP-READY verb has not yet completed, all
zeros are displayed.
3. The fields for the input to the verb request are displayed here. This is where you
enter the information required by the verb.
4. The reply fields from the verb are displayed here after the verb has been executed by
SNAX/APC.
5. This is the APS menu. You select the verb you want to execute by pressing the
corresponding function key. The labels on the top row correspond to the unshifted
function keys, and those on the bottom row correspond to the shifted function keys.
The menu choices will reflect either the use of basic or mapped verbs, depending on
the choice you make when first issuing a TP-READY verb.
