APS Function Key Definitions
Table 4-1 and Table 4-2 describe the unshifted and shifted function keys used by APS
for basic and mapped verbs.
Table 4-1. Unshifted APS Function Keys

F1 TPR Selects the TP-READY verb.
F2 Aloc or MAI Selects the ALLOCATE or MC-ALLOCATE verb.
F3 Deal or MDal Selects the DEALLOCATE or MC-DEALLOCATE verb.
F4 TPE Selects the TP-END verb.
F5 R&W or MR&W Selects the RECEIVE-AND-WAIT or MC-RECEIVE-AND-
WAIT verb.
F6 RTS or MRTS Selects the REQUEST-TO-SEND or MC-REQUEST-TO-SEND
verb.
F7 SD or MSD Selects the SEND-DATA or MC-SEND-DATA verb.
F8 SE or MSE Selects the SEND-ERROR or MC-SEND-ERROR verb.
F9 Cnf or MCnf Selects the CONFIRM or MC-CONFIRM verb.
F10 Cnfd or MCfd Selects the CONFIRMED or MC-CONFIRMED verb.
F11 GA or MGA Selects the GET-ATTRIBUTES or MC-GET-ATTRIBUTES
verb.
F12 Send Sends the selected verb to SNAX/APC for execution.
F13 Prnt Prints the screen display on the printer specified for APS in
PATHCOM.
F14 Hex Invokes the hexadecimal editor, which is used to edit and display
in hexadecimal the contents of the User Data field of the
(MC)RECEIVE-AND-WAIT, (MC)RECEIVE-IMMEDIATE,
and (MC)SEND-DATA verbs.
F15 Rcov Displays the current form again.
F16 Exit Stops APS.
