CONFIRMED (F10)
CONFIRMED (F10)
The CONFIRMED verb acknowledges receipt of data or the completion of a function.
When you receive a CONFIRM indication in the WHAT-RECEIVED field of a
RECEIVE-AND-WAIT reply, you should use CONFIRMED to acknowledge that data
has been received or processed correctly. If you need to indicate an error in the data to
the partner TP, issue a SEND-ERROR verb. CONFIRMED completes immediately.
Request Fields
The request field for the CONFIRMED verb screen has no operator input.
Reply Fields
IPC Return Code
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE returned in the IPC header reply.
IPC Return Code Detail
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE-DETAIL returned in the IPC
header reply.
UOWs In
displays the number of UOWs in this IPC message (always 1 for APS).
UOWs Out
for APS, this value is always 1. UOWs Out indicates the number of reply UOWs
contained in the reply from SNAX/APC.
