DEALLOCATE (F3)
DEALLOCATE (F3)
The DEALLOCATE verb ends a conversation with a partner TP. The DEALLOCATE
verb supports the following types of deallocation requests:
DEALLOCATE (SYNC-LEVEL) or (SL)
DEALLOCATE (CONFIRM) or (CO)
DEALLOCATE (FLUSH) or (FL)
DEALLOCATE (ABEND-PROG) or (AP)
DEALLOCATE (CONFIRM) or (AP)
DEALLOCATE (LOCAL) or (LO)
The type of deallocation that should be used depends on the state and synchronization
level of the conversation.
If you issue a DEALLOCATE (SYNC-LEVEL) or a DEALLOCATE (CONFIRM)
request when the synchronization level is CONFIRM, the DEALLOCATE verb
completes when the partner TP issues a CONFIRMED verb or a SEND-ERROR verb.
A DEALLOCATE (FLUSH) request completes when any data and requests in the
SNAX/APC buffer have been sent to the partner TP and the local resources have been
deallocated.
A DEALLOCATE (LOCAL) request completes when SNAX/APC has deallocated the
local resources.
