MC-CONFIRM (F9)
MC-CONFIRM (F9)
MC-CONFIRM requests confirmation of receipt of data or completion of a function.
This verb sends any data and requests in the SNAX/APC buffer to the partner TP and
requests an explicit confirmation from the partner TP that it has received the data. When
you issue MC-CONFIRM, the partner TP receives CONFIRM in the WHAT-
RECEIVED field of an MC-RECEIVE-AND-WAIT reply. MC-CONFIRM completes
when APS receives a confirmation or an error reply from the partner TP.

The request field for the MC-CONFIRM verb screen has no operator input.
Reply Fields
IPC Return Code
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE returned in the IPC header reply.
IPC Return Code Detail
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE-DETAIL returned in the IPC
header reply.
UOWs In
displays the number of UOWs in this IPC message (always 1 for APS).
