MC-CONFIRMED (F10)

The MC-CONFIRMED verb acknowledges receipt of data or the completion of a

function. When you receive a CONFIRM indication in the WHAT-RECEIVED field of

an MC-RECEIVE-AND-WAIT reply, you should use MC-CONFIRMED to

acknowledge that data has been received or processed correctly. If you need to indicate

an error in the data to the partner TP, issue an MC-SEND-ERROR verb. MC-

CONFIRMED completes immediately.

The request field for the MC-CONFIRMED verb screen has no operator input.

Reply Fields

IPC Return Code

displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE returned in the IPC header reply.

IPC Return Code Detail

displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE-DETAIL returned in the IPC

header reply.

UOWs In

displays the number of UOWs in this IPC message (always 1 for APS).
