MC-DEALLOCATE (F3)
MC-DEALLOCATE (F3)
The MC-DEALLOCATE verb ends a conversation with a partner TP. It supports the
following types of deallocation requests:
MC-DEALLOCATE (SYNC-LEVEL ) or (SL)
MC-DEALLOCATE (CONFIRM) or (CO)
MC-DEALLOCATE (FLUSH) or (FL)
MC-DEALLOCATE (ABEND) or (AP)
MC-DEALLOCATE (LOCAL) or (LO)
The type of deallocation that should be used depends on the state and synchronization
level of the conversation.
If you issue a MC-DEALLOCATE (SYNC-LEVEL) or an MC-DEALLOCATE
(CONFIRM) request when the synchronization level is CONFIRM, the MC-
DEALLOCATE verb completes when the partner TP issues an MC-CONFIRMED verb.
An MC-DEALLOCATE (FLUSH) request completes when any data and requests in the
SNAX/APC buffer have been sent to the partner TP and the local resources have been
deallocated.
An MC-DEALLOCATE (LOCAL) request completes when SNAX/APC has deallocated
the local resources.
