MC-RECEIVE-IMMEDIATE (SF5)
MC-RECEIVE-IMMEDIATE (SF5)
The MC-RECEIVE-IMMEDIATE verb receives any data or control information that is
immediately available from the partner TP. The MC-RECEIVE-IMMEDIATE verb does
not wait for information to arrive from the partner TP. The information, if available, can
be data, conversation status, or a request for confirmation. The verb completes
immediately with an indication of whether any information was received and, if any, the
type of information. The local TP must be in the Receive state to issue this verb.
Request Fields
Data Length (Max 480)
specifies the maximum amount of data that the local TP (APS) can receive in one
reply. The maximum length you can specify is 480 bytes.
Reply Fields
IPC Return Code
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE returned in the IPC header reply.
IPC Return Code Detail
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE-DETAIL returned in the IPC
header reply.
UOWs In
displays the number of UOWs in this IPC message (always 1 for APS).
