Verbs Specific to Tandem Products
The following verbs have been created exclusively for the use of SNAX/APC. There is
no functional equivalent in the IBM option sets. Note that the DISPLAY-STATUS verb
is not supported in the APS because it cannot be used with IPC version code S3, which
APS uses exclusively.
TP-END (F4)
The TP-END verb releases all resources allocated to the local TP by a previous
TP-READY verb. When a local TP has finished using a particular SNAX/APC LU, the
local TP should issue a TP-END verb to release all allocated resources.
A local TP can issue a TP-END verb anytime after a TP-READY verb. However, if a
conversation is active when the local TP issues the TP-END verb, SNAX/APC
deallocates the conversation abnormally.
Request Fields
The TP-END verb screen has no request fields.
Reply Fields
IPC Return Code
displays the value of HEADER-RETURN-CODE returned in the IPC header reply.
