The SNAX/APC Implementation
From the point of view of the local SNAX/APC user, sync point support is controlled by
the SNAX/APC configuration. Including sync point information in TP requests may
require changes in the actual TP, depending on how it was designed.
Configuration and Control
The local SNAX/APC user controls sync point support for each transaction program by

Specifying the level of synchronization required for the TP application. The choices
are N (None) or Y (Sync-supported).

Selecting the sync level type that the local SNAX/APC LU accepts from the remote
LU. The choices are NONE, CONFIRM, and SYNCPT.
Table 1-1
shows how these choices interact to control sync point support. The details on
how to make these choices are provided in Section 3, Verb Definitions.
