Sync Point Session and Conversation Activation
When SNAX/APC receives a TP-READY request with the sync point parameter 
SYNCSUPPORT set to “Y”, SNAX/APC determines whether the request can be 
honored or rejected. It is honored only if the requested LU has been configured to 
support sync level conversations. If the request is rejected, an error stating SYNC 
LEVEL NOT SUPPORTED BY LU, is sent to the TP.
If the request is honored, a new, unique, protected Logical Unit of Work Identifier 
(LUWID) is generated and returned with the resource ID. In the case of a remotely 
attached TP, the LUWID is not generated and the TP-READY remains pending. The 
TP-READY completes when it receives an attach from the other TP. The LUWID 
received with the ATTACH header is used in the TP-READY reply.
