GO Command
trace-file
specifies the trace-file name.
GO Command
Use the GO command to create a trace output file based on the range, select, and
translate criteria that are currently in effect. Refer to the FROM and TO command
descriptions for information on trace input and output files.
Considerations
Only records meeting the criteria specified in the SELECT command are processed.
When output is directed to a terminal, if you enter the GO command and the
formatter immediately prompts you, no records were in the specified range that met
the select criteria. In that case, change the selection criteria.
HEX Command
Use the HEX command to suppress or enable processing of hexadecimal data.
Considerations
HEX OFF results in all hexadecimal information being suppressed, regardless of
location in the trace file.
This command is useful if you wish to process a summary review of the trace file.
HTRACE Command
Use the HTRACE command to display all DATA, and use the BIU trace records in a
compact way, usually on only one line.
