Error Version (Trace Format)
The remote TP, still in Receive state, should respond with another RECEIVE-AND-
WAIT, but it sends a CONFIRMED verb instead.
SNAX/APC recognizes a violation of the protocol of the finite state machine, and shuts
down the remote TP. Note that the CONV ID, SESSION ID, and the RIDs have had
their values set to zero, which indicates that SNAX/APC no longer recognizes the
existence of a session. A UOW return code of 1002 with detail 0001 is issued.
If you consult the UOW return codes in Section 2 of the SNAX/APC Application
Programming Manual, you will note that 1002 indicates the message RC-
DEALLOCATE-ABEND-PROG, which means the conversation was terminated by the
remote TP or SNAX/APC because it detected an error that would not allow successful
completion of the conversation.
Use the REP-RETURN-CODE-DETAIL field to determine the reason for the
deallocation. The detail code was 0001, which means that the conversation was
terminated by the local SNAX/APC, because of a protocol error.
Note that the information on that detail code states “Do not issue DEALLOCATE
LOCAL or TP-END if the detail field contains RCD-ABEND-TP-LOCAL; no
processing is done and the IPC return code is INVALID-RESOURCE-ID because the
